STEM Resource: National Youth Science Camp
Share

The National Youth Science Foundation sponsors the National Youth Science Camp, which since 1963 has hosted 5,000 of the nation’s top high school science students at a free month-long camp in the wilds of West Virginia.  At the camp, two student delegates from each state learn from prominent scientists from across the US about the excitement and importance of careers in science. Through hands-on activities, lectures, and an outdoor adventure program, students are exposed to work in a variety of scientific disciplines.  See the website for application details, photos of previous summers, and faqs about the camp.  For more information visit - http://www.nysc.org/w/Welcome.html
